Preheat the oven to 230 C 烤箱预热230摄氏度

Peel the pears and cut them in half length-wise. Carefully scoop out the core and seeds from each half.梨去皮对半开,去掉核

In a cast iron or other oven proof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.放入铸铁锅或者其他锅,中火融化黄油

Place the pears in the skillet, cut side down, and cook them until they are starting to get browned, about 2-3 minutes.切面向下,直至变棕色,大概2-3分钟

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Using a fork, carefully flip pears to cut side up and continue to bake another 10 minutes.转至烤箱,烤15分钟,翻面再烤10分钟
