Serves 4

Swedish Meatball的食材和调料

2tbsp white breadcrumbs&2 tbsp milk
250g minced beef &150g minced pork
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
Pinch of spices ( nutmeg or allspice or cinnamon)
For the sauce
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 cop beef stock & 1/4 c cup creamor milk
chopped dill or parsley
4 tbsp lingonberry to serve
or cranberry or raspberry or black berry

Swedish Meatball的做法与步骤

  1. 1.

    In a bowl 2 tbsp breadcrumbs& 2 tbsp milk: absorb onion & egg & mince salt & pepper & spice Form into 24 small meatballs. (wet hands)

  2. 2.

    In a large frying pan Heat oil : medium heat brown the meatballs:8-10-15minutes. Remove-cover-set aside.

    drain off any excess fat add 1tbsp flour : smooth paste pour in 1 cup beef stock: thicken add 1/4 cup cream : heat through *1 tsp soy sauce & 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard season return the meatballs: heat through

  4. 4.

    Sprinkle with dill or parsley serve with lingonberry & greens & mashed potatoes or rice
